Showcasing handcrafted art from Oregon

Art has always been a way for me to explore, experiment, and reconnect with the places and experiences that mean something to me. I especially love recreating landscapes and places I’ve been, capturing not only what they looked like, but something of what it felt like to be there.

I don’t like to limit myself to one style or medium. Part of what I love about creating is trying something new, figuring out how different materials work, and seeing where the process takes me. Sometimes that means painting a landscape from one of my own photographs. Other times it means experimenting with a completely different medium or creating something simply because I want to see if I can.

Mandalas have become another meaningful part of my work. I love watching them transform as I paint, beginning with a pattern and slowly becoming something entirely different through layers of color and detail. There’s something almost meditative about the process, and I’m often surprised by how much the piece changes from where it began.

More than anything, I create because I love the process. I love taking a blank surface and turning it into something, revisiting a place through paint, learning something I haven’t tried before, and watching a piece evolve along the way.
